The first four episodes of Asa + LANA: The Story Remembers built the memory system behind the series.

The prompt records what was intended. The rendered scene records what actually happened.

**A prompt is an instruction. A render is evidence. Human approval is what turns evidence into canon.**

01 — Memory is not enough if the system cannot inspect the scene

When a creator requests a new scene, three different states exist:

1. Intended State: What the prompt and Story Bible requested. 2. Observed State: What the generative model actually rendered in the video frames and audio track. 3. Accepted State: What the director approves as official story canon.

Without perception, the system assumes the render matched the prompt. But visual models drift, props vanish, facial anchors shift, and background details change without warning.

02 — Story Perception turns scenes into evidence

The Lux Codex Story Perception system inspects rendered scenes across multi-modal channels:

- Character Observation: Face consistency, hair, rectangular glasses, posture, skin tone, facial expression. - Wardrobe Tracking: Jacket color, shirt style, accessories, wear-and-tear history. - Environment & Location: Lighting, background geometry, time of day, weather, room assets. - Object & Action Detection: Held props, key technology items, character movements, spatial positions. - Text & Audio Analysis: On-screen signage, UI text readability, voice tone, speech pacing, dialogue match.

03 — Human judgment decides what the system is allowed to believe

Detection is not automatic approval. The Lux Codex establishes a strict gatekeeper protocol:

`text DETECTED → REVIEW REQUIRED → CONFIRMED OR REJECTED → HUMAN DECISION → ACCEPTED AS CANON `

A detail detected in a render never becomes official story truth until the director explicitly confirms it.
